One of my favorite things about cocktails isn't necessarily what's in the glass — it's the stories they tell.
As the World Cup brings countries from around the globe together, I thought it would be fun to celebrate in a different way: one cocktail at a time.
Over the next few weeks, I invite my readers, followers, friends, and fellow cocktail enthusiasts to join me on a worldwide cocktail adventure.
Here's how it works.
Choose a country participating in the World Cup and create a cocktail inspired by that country's flavors, traditions, ingredients, or culture. It can be a classic recipe, your own creative twist, or a family favorite with a story behind it.
Then, send it to Drinks With MB. @drinkswithmb instagram or Tik Tok @drinkswithmb
Email: DrinkswithMB@gmail.com
Share:
The name of your cocktail
The country it represents
The ingredients and recipe
A photo of your finished cocktail (optional)
The story behind why you chose it
Throughout the tournament, I'll feature reader submissions on my blog and social media pages as we celebrate the world through cocktails.
The World Cup is one of the few events that truly brings people from all backgrounds together. Whether you're cheering for your home country, your family's heritage, or simply your favorite team, there's something beautiful about gathering around food, drinks, and shared experiences.
My hope is that this becomes more than just another cocktail blog.
I hope it becomes a collection of stories.
Imagine exploring the world one sip at a time while discovering recipes and traditions from people right here in our own communities.
From a Brazilian Caipirinha to a Mexican Paloma, a French 75, a Japanese Highball, or a cocktail that's entirely your own creation, every glass has a story waiting to be shared.
So, let's raise a glass to friendly competition, cultural connections, and a little creativity along the way.
Cheers to soccer, community, and sipping our way around the world.
I'd love to see what you create.
Send your submissions to Drinks With MB Email: DrinkswithMB@gmail.comand let's build a global cocktail collection together.
